What is CrossFit Kids Strength & Conditioning?
CrossFit Bridge City offers a unique approach to training youth through a strength and conditioning program designed exclusively athletes (ages 5-18). It’s also great for kids that don’t play sports wanting to learn a new sport or train like an athlete. Our training program combines age-appropriate weightlifting and gymnastics with high intensity training to deliver optimal fitness and performance.
We teach proper power lifting and Olympic lifting techniques to enhance strength, speed, explosiveness, power, and also focus on basic gymnastics to increase agility, mobility, balance, coordination and flexibility. Our Strength and Conditioning is ideal for any athlete looking to get the edge over their competitor in their chosen sporting field. In addition, it is a great way to get your teen into the habit of training and maintaining good healthy habits.
The benefits of Strength and Conditioning:
Learn correct technique from qualified coaches in a safe environment
Improved sporting performance
Improved strength, power, explosiveness, agility, speed balance and flexibility
Protect against injury
Strengthen the mind, and improves life skills such as focus, perseverance, dedication, motivation, and goal-setting
The classes are designed to help foster a team environment where the workouts are in a group setting, rather than individually. Qualified, certified and skilled coaches will supervise and run the classes. We are confident our program will help these young athletes get the most out of their sport. Classes are set up to include a warm-up, skill training, workout, and stretch.
